After spending 2006 playing it safe at award shows and even when stepping out on the town, Hollywood’s most photographed ladies decided that 2007 was the year to take a chance and start expressing themselves fashion-wise. Outrageously over-the-top star fashion faux pas have us in the mood for Fall and Halloween fashion!



Eva Green may have wowed us with her stunning Algerian Love Knot necklace that she wore in Casino Royale, but her recent decision to don a hot pink Christian Dior Asian inspired gown proves one thing - avant garde Haute Couture does not always translate well off the runway.



Avril Lavigne has been having a hard time proving just how "punk rock" she is lately. With her candy pop hit song, Girlfriend, and very traditional wedding ceremony, complete with white gown and classic wedding ring, we were wondering if Avril was losing her edge. Apparently, Avril was worried about the same thing. Unfortunately she decided to prove her punk cred by wearing a painfully unflattering pink tulle prom dress with make up that screamed "I was applied by my 10 year old cousin." Couldn't she have stuck with punky black and white stripes?



Courtney Love has always been a source for hit or miss fashion choices. Just when we thought Courtney had gone all "Hollywood" on us, donning beautiful Versace gowns and perfectly coiffed hair on the Red Carpet after her turn in the award winning Larry Flint, it looks like this Rock and Roll queen has been returning to her Grunge roots. However, it's hard to tell if this has been on purpose or not. Her black dress, though ill fitting, does look couture. What has us questioning the sanity of Courtney's style choices are her lilac eyeshadow and garish smudged orange lipstick. Oh, Courtney.
